Boonville is a small village located within the town of Boonville in northern Oneida County. It's population was 4,555 as of the 2010 census and it is home to the Adirondack Central School District. Boonville is an attractive village with historic row buildings along Main St. and many victorian and colonial style homes. The Hulbert House, seen in the photo above, was built of native limestone in 1812. Boonville is also know as the "Snow Capital of the East" and a popular destination for snowmobile enthusiasts as an entry point to the Tug Hill and host of vintage sled racing at the Boonville Snow Festival. In the summer it is also home to the Woodsmens' Field Days and Oneida County Fair.
